Field Value
Title Base line data analysis of a developing geothermal system, Boise, Idaho. Research technical completion report, G903-09
Creator Waag, C. J.; Wood, S. H.
Date 1985-11
Coverage Southern Idaho 43.605, -116.165
Subject Geothermal resources; Aquifers; Drawdown; Recharge
Description Calculated aquifer transmissivities in the Boise Warm Springs Water District portion of the geothermal system range from the 3500-25,000 gals/day/ft. Withdrawals during the 1985-1985 heating season stabilized drawdown at the pumpbowls, and water levels approached stability in observation wells as distant as 1,675 ft. (507.6 m). In this near steady-state condition, recharge, and water from storage beyond the observation wells provided a maximum Q of 940 gpm. Submitted to U.S. Geological Survey.
