Description Stochastic models of streamflow were developed for two rivers in Idaho, and the results analyzed to assess model performance and the characteristics of droughts. Multivariate modeling methods were applied to both historical records to extend their length, based on nearby longer-term records, and the unextended and extended data then used to determine subsequent model parameters.
