Description An examination of past erosion events shows that erosion and sediment yield affected by frozen soil are usually worse than that occurring on unfrozen soil. The objectives of this project were to determine if these observed differences were real or not and also if the severity of erosion in the early winter had any effect on the severity of erosion in the late winter or spring.
