Description R. P. Teele's account of an August 1918 reconnaissance trip with Ralph L. Parshall and R. G. Hosea from Denver, Colorado, to Lexington, Nebraska. The trio took stream and seepage measurements and photographs of the South Platte River and irrigation canals and ditches diverting from it, observed the condition of irrigation infrastructure, interviewed several people involved in irrigation, and visited the county clerk's office in Ogallala to research records of the Western Irrigation District.
