Description | G. J. Bayle was a timber cruiser and logger for the Consolidated Mining and Smelting Company Limited (CMS), later Cominco, in Trail, British Columbia. In the 1920s as a result of complaints about harm caused to timber, crops, and livestock from Stevens County residents, the U.S. government objected formally to the Canadian Government about this damage.
