Description Records documenting the transfer of land for the Cedar River Watershed.; Historical Note; Seattle began exploring the use of the Cedar River as a water source in the 1890s. A dam was built at Landsburg and water sent through a 29-mile pipeline to reservoirs in Seattleā€™s Volunteer Park and Lincoln reservoirs.
