Description Administrative History: Brigham Young University is a four-year private institution located in Provo, Utah and is owned and operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Brigham Young University was established in 1875 as Brigham Young Academy. It has since grown into one of the United States' largest private universities. Collection includes correspondence, contracts, and deeds concerning water rights between Brigham Young University and Provo Reservoir Company in Provo, Utah between 1910 and 1916.
