Description | Administrative History: The University Irrigation Company, also known as the Fruitland Irrigation Company, was established in 1908 in Provo, Utah County, Utah. The original incorporators were George H. Brimhall, Jesse Knight , C. E. Loose, James Clove, and Lafayette Holbrook. At the time the Articles of Incorporation were written for the University Irrigation Company in 1908, all of the incorporators resided in Provo, Utah and were subscribed a portion of stock for the company. The Articles of Incorporation for the University Irrigation Company, written in 1908 in Provo Utah, outline the purposes of the establishment, organization of company officers, terms of office, and the names of the original incorporators, specifying between directors and officers, as well as giving their residence and the amount of stock they were subscribed for the company.
