| Description | We examined spatial variation in daytime drift density of Baetis larvae collected from 42 habitat patches in Clearwater Creek, southwest Washington, USA. Drift density ranged between 22 and 525 100 m-3. Variation in drift density appeared to be inversely related to current velocity, although only weakly.
