Abstract | This paper is a study of the procedures used in achieving element reduction in networks realized from a given network function. Reduction in the number of elements in RC-realization is possible in the synthesis of a transfer function and in the simultaneous realization of driving-point function and a transfer function, through proper partitioning of the function and through realization of all possible network configurations respectively. Proper partioning of the specified polynomial in RC-NIC realization indicates the optimum expression for the selection of the auxiliary polynomials. The procedures developed for each form of RC-NIC synthesis will lead to the reduction of the number of elements in the realized networks. |
