Description The Central Utah Project, planned and being constructed by the Bureau of Reclamation, is located in the central and east central part of Utah. It is the largest water resource development program undertaken in the state of Utah. A brief historical description of each of the six units in the Central Utah Project is included. The units are Vernal Unit, Upalco Unit, Jensen Unit, Uintah Unit, Bonneville Unit, and Ute Indian Unit.
