Description This study analyzes the attitudes and behavior of farmers and absentee landowners in the Palouse area of Washington and Idaho to help illuminate the reasons for adoption or failure to adopt control practices. Three hundred and six farm operators and 206 absentee landowners were studied. More than half of all farmers use seven of nine potentially helpful practices.
