Description | This report provides a review of the data used for comparing subyearling survival to flow rates, water temperature, time of release, and travel time. The principal conclusion of the review is that survival data and flow rates used by Muir et al. (1999), despite showing an apparent correlation between flow rates and survival, do not imply a cause and effect relationship between flow and survival of subyearlings and should not be used as a basis to justify flow augmentation.
