Description This project was undertaken in the attempt to ascertain the relative contribution or stimulatory effect of selected nutrients which might promote the growth of indigenous algal species in American Falls Reservoir. In this study polyethylene tubes were employed to follow changes in abundance of naturally occuring algal species exposed to different concentrations of organic carbon and phosphorus.
