This photograph shows the left berm of the open outlet transition being excavated to original ground, preparatory to the placing of compacted backfill against the sides of the open outlet transition. Concrete is placed from the beginning of the open inlet transition, Station 510+50 to the end of the last buttress, Station 511+10.
