| Note | "The following bibliography was first prepared in April 1974 for use as a working bibliography on the State/Federal Dungeness Crab Management Program. The present collection combines the articles appearing in the 1974 report with those that have appeared through June 1976. An earlier bibliography on the Dungeness crab (Butler, 1967) contains a reasonably complete compilation of literature published through 1966. Since 1966, several more articles dealing with the Dungeness crab have appeared in the literature. This collection contains for the most part references to articles that have been published since 1966. Only those articles published prior to 1966 that are pertinent to the crab management program or were not listed by Butler (1967) have been included. Following the list of published articles is a list of unpublished reports dealing with the crab resource in California, Oregon, and Washington." (from the Introduction) |
