Description The purpose of this report is to provide information aimed at preserving and maintaining the Bear Lake ecosystem for present and future multiple uses, which includes fishing, boating, swimming, camping, agriculture, and scientific investigations (quoted and paraphrased from document). With an increase in the levels of multiple uses on Bear Lake, the Bear Lake Regional Commission, through funds provided by the EPA conducted an extensive 314 clean lakes water quality study within the Bear Lake watershed. The results of this study pointed out that unless nutrient loading was reduced at Bear Lake, the 'cu1tura1 11 eutrophication process will continue unchecked.
