Description A Professional Project report submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Water Resources, Water Resources Program, University of New Mexico. In 2010 the Environmental Protection Agency chose a large watershed surrounding Albuquerque, NM for the implementation of a watershed-based NPDES stormwater permit. This region was one of three in the country selected for development of a watershed-based permit in response to recommendations published by the National Research Council in 2006.
