Creator Lao, Chester
Subject Electric logging -- Hawaii -- Oahu. Geophysical well logging -- Hawaii -- Oahu. Groundwater -- Hawaii -- Oahu.
Description The Water Resources Research Center has begun an investigation of the uses of electric well-logging in Hawaiian hydrogeologic conditions. Since the arrival of the electric well logger in April, 1966, 32 producing wells and test wells plus 2 small diameter test holes have been surveyed on Oahu. The correlation between the interpretation of electric logs made on sediments and actual drilling cores is excellent. Electric logs obtained on wells in basalt generally display good electric contrasts... Water Resources Research Center, University of Hawaii
