Description The purpose of the 1981 to 1983 monitoring program at the Barbers Point Outfall on Oahu, is two-fold: to describe the benthic community by utilizing micromollusks as index species and to establish a data base for continuing community analysis. 'Ibis report should be regarded as an initial step in an ongoing monitoring program. The conclusions as of the end of 1983 are as follows: 1.
