Relation | Edward C. Fritz papers, 1950s-2008 |

Description | One of a group of 46 slides depicting views of the Trinity River, Texas, from the collection of Ned Fritz. In the early 1970s, Fritz was campaigning with the group, Citizens' Organization for a Sound Trinity, to stop the canalization of the Trinity River. This scene shows a port on the river and was likely photographed to illustrate the negative impact of increased industry that a commercial barge canal would bring to the area. |
