| Description | Campaign literature from the bid by local environmental groups to defeat the bond proposal for the Dallas Floodway Extension which was going for public vote on June 10, 1978. Citizens' Organization for a Sound Trinity had successfully contested the large scale Trinity River Project in 1973 which contained similar plans to extend the levees at Dallas. This bond proposal was also voted down. |
