| Description | This is a statement prepared by Henry C. Fulcher, Jr., for a press conference held ahead of the bond election of June 10, 1978, urging citizens to vote against the Dallas Floodway Extension. Fulcher's group, Citizens' Organization for a Sound Trinity, identified the extension of the Dallas levees as a component of the Trinity River Project which they had campaigned against and defeated in 1973. |
