TCONR was one of several groups campaigning against the Trinity River Levee Extension ahead of a bond election on June 10, 1978. The proposed public works to extend the Dallas Floodway were part of the Trinity River Project which was previously voted down by citizens in the Trinity River watershed in 1973. |
