| Description | This document was compiled by the Trinity Improvement Association (TIA), a proponent of the Trinity River Project. The project was authorized by the 89th Congress under the Rivers and Harbors Act, Public Law 89-298, October 26, 1965. The House Committee on Public Works subsequently recommended a re-evaluation of navigation features based on updated standards set forth in the Department of Transportation Act, Public Law 89-670. This is a summary of the Army Corps findings. |
