Format Scanned from originals using Silverfast AI 6.0 on UMAX Powerlook III flatbed scanner. Scanned images saved as 16 bit grayscale tiffs. 1491.701 kb 8 bit - Gray Gamma 2.2 - greyscale Omnipage 14 used to OCR 8 bit tiffs and generate text files for full text access. 16 bit grayscale and 48>24 RGB color tiffs edited in Photoshop CS 8.0: cropped, rotated, reduced in size, levels adjusted, grayscale bit depth reduced to 8 and JPEGs created.
Description September 13, same station.—Flood, 3 hours ; ebb, 2 hours and 31 minutes. This day showed same directions for flood, ebb, and turn as the preceding. Throughout the flood and first of the ebb, the surface current remained to the right of the subsurface, but the divergence was not so large as on the 11th. During main ebb, their directions were the same. High-water at cape at 1.15, 7 feet above mean low-water. Surface current began to turn at 1.50, the subsurface about 10 minutes later....
