Description | September 13, same station.—Flood, 3 hours ; ebb, 2 hours and 31 minutes. This day showed same directions for flood, ebb, and turn as the preceding. Throughout the flood and first of the ebb, the surface current remained to the right of the subsurface, but the divergence was not so large as on the 11th. During main ebb, their directions were the same. High-water at cape at 1.15, 7 feet above mean low-water. Surface current began to turn at 1.50, the subsurface about 10 minutes later.... |
