Description | LONG CROSSING BAR, about 15 miles above Fish-Hook Rapid. The channel here is shoal, with a bottom of rock and large bowlders. Two rocks which stand in the channel opposite to about the middle of the island should be removed, and some of the bowlders should be taken from the edge of the reef at the upper end.
