Description | 3D3 [3B4] Comment: This statement is only partly true. Ground water beneath the project has risen as a result of irrigation. In the northern part much of the water is tributary to Potholes Reservoir where it is collected and reused. Where ground water is high enough to cause problems tile drains are being installed. The situation will be stabilized. Recommended disposition Code E. 5A1 Comment: Some of this is being examined in Columbia River Depletion Studies now nearing completion.... |
