Scanned images saved as 16 bit grayscale tiffs. 197.004 kb 8 bit - Gray Gamma 2.2 - greyscale Omnipage 14 used to OCR 8 bit tiffs and generate text files for full text access. 16 bit grayscale and 48>24 RGB color tiffs edited in Photoshop CS 8.0: cropped, rotated, reduced in size, levels adjusted, grayscale bit depth reduced to 8 and JPEGs created.
Description Inventories and Analysis Oregon and Washington climate, has created a remarkable diversity of habitat for vegetation and wildlife. Over 200 rare plant sites were mapped by the Oregon and Washington Natural Heritage Programs. Additional sites were located by amateur botanists. Forty-three significant plant communities, or natural areas, were mapped, ranging from old growth forests in Multnomah Basin in Multnomah County to bunchgrass prairies in the Columbia Hills of Klickitat County....
