Description PROGRESS IN POLLUTION ABATEMENT SINCE 1958-59 CONFERENCE STATE ACTION Following the 1959 Conference, the States of Oregon and Washington, with the support of the Technical Coordinating Committee, initiated a cooperative pollution-abatement program to accomplish the objectives of the Conference.
