Scanned images saved as 16 bit grayscale tiffs. 174.593 kb 8 bit - Gray Gamma 2.2 - greyscale Omnipage 14 used to OCR 8 bit tiffs and generate text files for full text access. 16 bit grayscale and 48>24 RGB color tiffs edited in Photoshop CS 8.0: cropped, rotated, reduced in size, levels adjusted, grayscale bit depth reduced to 8 and JPEGs created.
Description source of nutrients for the slime growths which occur from Camas to Cathlamet in quantities that interfere with fishing operations and other legitimate water uses. Surveillance field studies were conducted by the U. S. Public Health Service from October 1958 to April 1960 (7). Tile boxes (8) and tow nets were used to determine the occurrence of slime. The report states, ... there was never any Sphaerotilus or associated slimes found at Sta. 1" (Washougal, above Camas, at R.M. 122.6)....
