Scanned images saved as 16 bit grayscale tiffs. 295.647 kb 8 bit - Gray Gamma 2.2 - greyscale Omnipage 14 used to OCR 8 bit grayscale tiffs and generate text files for full text access. 16 bit grayscale tiffs edited in Photoshop 6.0: cropped, rotated, reduced in size, levels adjusted, bit depth reduced to 8 and JPEGs created.
Description eral valleys along the Powder River and its north fork. The largest of these is the Baker Valley in the upper middle part of the drainage area. Above Baker two irrigated valleys contain approximately 6,000 acres of irrigated land. The upper, or Sumpter Valley, includes about 4,000 acres and the lower, the Bowen Valley, about 2,000.
