| Format | 1200dpi 3,967,141 bytes 8 bit - greyscale Original prints were scanned by Map & Aerial Photography Collection staff using local best practices, producing an 8 bit grayscale TIFF at 1200dpi which is stored on CD-ROM media. TIFF was reduced by 50% and saved as JPEG for Wester Waters collection. Geographic metadata and a guidemap were created by importing TIFF into ESRI ArcMap and georeferencing the image to USGS 1:24000 Quadrangle map using a minimum of 12 points. |
