Description Benson immediately below the upper falls and over the chasm cut by the rushing waters. Near here the tracks of the O. W. R. & N. Co. occupied all the available space between the river and the mountain side. The danger of slides precluded any excavation, so that the difficulty was overcome by the construction of the longest viaduct on the highway.
