Format | Scanned from black and white photocopies using Dosadi Acquire Version 2.57 on a Ricoh IS450se document feed scanner. Scanned images saved as grayscale and as 2 tone black and white multi-page tiffs. 8 bit - no profile - grayscale Omnipage 9.0 used to OCR black and white multi-page tiffs and generate Word documents for full text access. Grayscale multi-page tiffs split with libtif tiffsplit script. Individual tiffs edited in Photoshop 6.0: cropped, rotated reduced in size and JPEGs created. |
Description | paved, this summer. The Sandy river is crossed, the Portland Auto Club House is passed, and an easy ascent is made to Chanticleer at an elevation of over nine hundred feet. The term "easy ascent" is used advisedly, for this part of the Columbia River Highway is really a boulevard. Nowhere does the grade exceed five per cent.
