Caption included with image: WPA cleared lake bottom looking east on Spokane river, near Detillion, showing a part of the Grand Coulee reservoir which WPA crews have cleared of all trash and debris. Water is slowly creeping up the banks of the river and will soon cover the entire bottom to the tree line on either bank.
