Description Caption included with image: One of the first of early settler's houses in the path of the WPA clearing project crew, near Camp Lincoln. All stumps, unsaleable trees and other combustible debres is (editor's correction: are) burned as the WPA crews move up the banks of the Columbia River above Grand Coulee dam, preparing the future lake bed of the 151 mile Coulee Dam Reservoir.
